Teqplay joining Port Call for Net Zero
With up to 80% of port emissions linked to the port call process, isolated efforts won’t be enough—collaboration is essential. Which is why we are proud to share that Teqplay is joining the Port Call for Net Zero (PortCall.Zero) project, a groundbreaking initiative tackling one of the biggest challenges in the maritime industry: reducing port emissions.

Teqplay’s role includes bringing expertise on digital twins of the port call process, helping integrate insights from all work packages into a virtual port call environment. This will allow us to simulate and analyze the operational and environmental impact of different strategies, ensuring data-driven decision-making for more efficient and sustainable port operations.
With 160 million tons of CO2 emitted annually due to ships waiting in ports, which is equal to the Netherlands’ total emissions in 2022, the need for action is clear.
Through AI-powered solutions and strategic collaboration, we’re working to transform port logistics for a greener, more efficient future. We are very excited for the journey ahead—let’s build a sustainable future for the maritime industry together!
