Next level digitzation in the martime industry: Teqplay partners with Navis and i4sea

Teqplay, Navis, part of Cargotec Corporation, and i4sea have formed a partnership. Teqplay joined the Rainmaking Trade&Transport Impact program in Fall 2019. One of the results was a joint business exploration with Navis and i4sea.

Today we announce we enter a new phase: a partnership between these three companies. Léon Gommans, CEO and co-founder of Teqplay: “It’s the perfect example of Teqplay’s strong believe: making impact and tackling the complex challenges of the maritime industry by co-creating solutions that really make a difference for our clients and users and bring the industry to the next level.”

Our port call platform with event tracking and visibility solutions delivers timestamps and superior level ETA information, essential data for port call and terminal optimization. The combination with i4sea’s accurate forecasts for weather, ocean and vessel dynamics related restrictions creates next level predictability in maritime operations. Together it offers easier planning and communication with stakeholders around a port call and higher and safer utilization of berths and sea passages, leading into clear complementary features of the Navis Berth Window Management; a cloud-based product that enables terminal operators to better plan and optimize their berth utilization in an intuitive and easy manner. “With this partnership we can serve customers’ needs even more.” says Ajay Bharadwaj, Senior Product Management Director at Navis.

We thank Tero Hottinen, Ajay Bharadway and Bruno Balbi. It’s a pleasure to collaborate with like-minded people who share the same beliefs in bringing the maritime industry to the next level by digitization!
