In Teqplay’s mission to drive change and foster collaboration by exposing and eliminating waste and risk in cargo movement, we organized Navigate 2024 at the Van Nelle Factory. Maritime experts from APMT, Vopak, and Yara shared their lessons learned on their journey, and professors from Erasmus University Rotterdam facilitated the roundtable discussion.

Pieter Lek, VP Digital Solutions, outlined Vopak's digital transformation journey aimed at enhancing terminal performance and efficiency. He emphasized the importance of digitizing processes and capturing relevant data points. Despite challenges such as legacy systems and varying levels of digital maturity among stakeholders, Vopak remains committed to leveraging data-driven insights to optimize port operations and drive sustainability.
Tom Tissink, Logistics & Loading Manager at Yara, presented their commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. As global demand for food rises, Yara's efforts towards responsible production are essential in ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. Through innovative initiatives and advanced planning tools developed by Teqplay, Yara continues to navigate the complex maritime landscape while prioritizing environmental concerns.
Professors Albert Veenstra and Rob Zuidwijk facilitated a roundtable discussion on data sharing, collaborative diagnostics, and collaborative planning. In the discussions insights were shared from various perspectives of differing stakeholders in the industry.
